Patient Concerns
Making Your Treatment Fit Your Life.
Fertility treatments like In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) are a very successful option for most couples. One of the biggest barriers to starting these treatments are concerns about multiple pregnancy, expense and the discomfort of therapy. We have worked very hard to implement a number of innovative strategies to help you overcome these obstacles.
Multiple Pregnancies
Our goal is to eliminate triplet pregnancies as a complication of IVF. We employ a patient specific approach to determine the ideal number of embryos to transfer. Many of our patients receive 2 embryos often at the blastocyst stage of development. While twin pregnancies are still a common outcome triplets have become largely a thing of the past.
Financial
IVF is generally not covered by insurance and most patients will face the challenge of paying for this procedure themselves. We work closely with HealthOne Financial, LLC to offer the IVF Finance Plan to make this treatment more affordable.
Additionally our IVF Assurance provides the peace of mind to know that you can receive a full refund if your treatment is not successful.
Injections
Treatment with IVF requires multiple injections of medications to stimulate the development of multiple eggs. In the past this required intramuscular injections with a long needle but due to recent improvements in the medications available most injections can now be given subcutaneously with a tiny needle. This makes it possible for patients to give their own injections and reduces the associated discomfort.
